December is completely kicking my arse, maybe it’s because as the year ending approaches people reflect on things. All I know is I don’t want to start a new year knowing you won’t be starting it too. All I want is to run towards you.

Everything feels like it’s slipping away and as much as I try i can’t keep hold of anything.

Christmas is very much cancelled for me , I have neither the energy or inclination to decorate a tree or go Christmas shopping.

They’ll be no messages from you this Christmas day, no calls. Christmas 2023 , just one of the many things you’ll now miss. The pain of your passing doesn’t get any easier and I still can’t believe that I’m never going to see you again.
